News + Giveaway!

Radiance From Ruins will open at Etsy on Wednesday, June 1st!  The shop will be stocked with pillow covers, cloth napkins, table cloths and table runners in fun fabrics, at affordable prices, all with quality and easy care in mind.  Quality because you know a perfectionist, recovering Pharisee like me can't help but strive for absolute precision in everything and easy care because I hate not being able to throw something in the wash machine.

To give you a little taste of the shop, I'm hosting a giveaway each week leading up to June 1st! 



This week is a 14" x 14" navy blue linen accent pillow cover (insert not included) with white cotton twill trim, a removeable yellow linen flower pin and zipper closure. The fabric has been prewashed and the seams have been serged so you can safely wash it (on cold). I would not suggest putting it in the dryer though- line dry or lay flat on a towel. And if the yellow flower doesn't work with your decor, remove the pin and use it on a sweater, bag or headband!

    Well, my living room colors are dusty or robin egg blue & yellow & green...green always works for me! Now, if you ever decide to give fabric headboards away, please let me know. Lol! ;)

    My style...is shabby chic, eclectic, and craftsman all rolled into one? Does that make any sense! My favorite colors change all of the time, but right now it is a mixture of dusty pinks, corals, and oranges. And as far as textures go, I love big florals and a good geometric print every now and then.

    good 2 talk to u tonite! that pillow would look oh so nice in my bedroom! as for my style... hmmm, I've always struggled to define my style, which is quite likely why my style may struggle at times :D fav color lately is gray, and I'm into bold geo type patterns. thanks, kate, for the giveways!

    Hey Katie, so good to see you testing new waters! My style is somewhat antique but very functional and budget controlled :) Our living room walls are burgandy(I think) and white. A give away is a great idea, wishing you the best.

    Oh- I can't wait to shop at your shop!
    My style is so much like Cassidy's: shabby chic and eclectic... florals, and a lot of solids. Brown is my fav, along with corals, oranges, greens... and a lot of good old turquoise!
