or all of the above?
How do Christians demonstrate Christ's love in such a broken society?
Is it expressed here?
Or here?
As always, God's word holds the answers...
"By this shall all men know that you are my disciples- if you have love for each other." John 13:35
Love puts up with a lot for a long time and does it in a kind manner.
Love does not want what it doesn't have.
Love doesn't parade itself around for attention or think more of itself than it is.
Love doesn't act childish and cares more about others than it cares for itself.
Love is not easily offended or quick to assume evil but always gives the benefit of the doubt.
Love does not make light of or take pleasure in sin of any kind, but takes pleasure in honesty and openness.
Love carries it all, puts faith in all, has high hopes in all and puts up with all.
Love is never ending.
May you seek and find God's true definition of love today!
Thank you Katie!

ReplyDeletei've posted this link on fb but this songs captures love in my mind. because it's straight from the Bible.
love is the feeling of my heart missing a piece because i spent time with children in haiti. love is the longing that they will know Jesus. that EVERYONE will know Jesus not just the kids in haiti. love is hard to grasp. but Ephesians 3:17-19 says it's possible to comprehend the love of Christ... that amazing thought hit me yesterday as we were discussing love.
