How To: Use Flopped Strawberry Jam

via / via

Necessity Extreme practicality is the mother of invention googling.

What can I say?  I grew up in the Midwest... where we use it up, wear it out, and then save the parts.

So, have you ever made multiple batches of freezer jam only to realize four hours later that you didn't read the instructions correctly?  Did you get mad and throw it away like I almost did?  If not, how did you use it?

ps. To diy, simply double the amount of crushed strawberries that the SureJel recipe requires. lol. :)

  2. Yes! I have absolutely done this and you know what? It takes just as good. I'm like you, pour it over ice cream or pancakes. Use it up! Gosh now I want strawberry jam.
